While athletics provides the key to open certain doors, a player’s character, intellect, and work ethic will allow them to make the most of a “perceived” opportunity.
— TRACY A. JONES, FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Scholar athletes can acquire a unique set of transferable skills through their participation in sports. Their development socially, emotionally, and academically is intimately tied to team performance and individual success. While there is a breadth of sports programs and development opportunities available, the T. Alexander Foundation differs in that the organization places a higher emphasis on character, community and career development. Life absolutely continues after sports. It is important we surround our scholar athletes with individuals who were able to successfully navigate that course with confidence and pride.
